LeadingAge Illinois seeks presentations that enable participants to share with and learn from one another. To create a rich, engaging learning experience, sessions should incorporate interactive educational methods, provide replicable hands-on knowledge, and demonstrate measurable outcomes/results. Extended Submission Deadline: Wednesday, December 4 LeadingAge Illinois cannot accept phone calls regarding the status of proposals at any time during the selection process.
Prospective Speaker Terms and Conditions
Reimbursement Policy: LeadingAge Illinois does not pay honorarium, travel, per diem or other costs of speakers. Speakers are responsible for all expenses incurred in the development and implementation of their education sessions. Registration Fee Policy: Complimentary registration for speakers are limited to two per company/organization if the session is selected. Panelists should be limited to 4 total presenters.
Handout Policy: Speakers are asked to post their session materials online within the time frames provided to ensure access for attendees. The speaker may distribute handouts (copied at own expense) at the session. Conflict of Interest Policy: Promoting a company, service or product during the presentation is prohibited. Sessions are intended to educate and, therefore, may not sell, promote or pitch any specific product or service or corporation services. Vendors should disclose conflicts, such as benefiting from developing solutions to the problem being addressed in the presentation. Professional Conduct Policy: In order to maintain a professional conference atmosphere, speakers need to be sensitive to the diversity of audience members and will refrain from using language, humor and/or examples during the presentation that could be perceived as offensive or inappropriate by audience members. When requested, we ask that perspective speakers provide documents that are required for LeadingAge Illinois to meet CE credentialing requirements. By starting this proposal you are agreeing that you have read the above terms and all presenters have agreed to keep Tuesday, July 22 and Wednesday 23, 2025 meeting dates open until notified of the status of the proposal. Submitting this proposal, is an acknowledgment that all additional presenters have been notified that they have been included in this proposal and have agreed to the terms. Questions?
